Infopath form validation fails when editing on Sharepoint
I've set up a Infopath form on SharePoint and the validation works great when users are submitting new requests or even submitting them through the QuickEdit menu on the SharePoint list itself. The problem is after a valid form item is entered it can be edited without validation.
I saw there's a "list validation" menu for Sharepoint lists but I don't see any of the previous rules that should have been uploaded in the Infopath upload there.
For example I intake manager change requests, and I would like to make sure any manager change also includes a cost center change. I'm able to submit a manager change with dummy data in the cost center, then delete the cost center afterwards.
