How to contribute to alsa? (intel hda config)

-1

I have a Xiaomi Mi Air 2018 Laptop and use it with Debian Sid.

The Headset-Combo-Jack didn't work correct with the stock config, only audio output works. I did a bit of research and find a tool to reconfigure the pins for chips with Intel HDA (hdajackretask). The codec is a Realtek ALC255.

I tried a bit around to find the right configuration, and now everything works as it should, but I want the changes to go upstream, so that everybody with this Laptop can benefit from this config.

Now I have two problems:
- I don't know how to code the config (see screenshots)
- I don't know how to contact somebody who could know this or contributes to alsa

Screenshots from the config:

Internal mic andspeaker

External mic

External speaker

Thanks for your help :)

It looks like ALSA has a website and wiki. ALSA Project | System Maintainers and ALSA Project | Mailing Lists are a good place to start.
