ImportError: No module named gae

-2

I am trying to get GAE to work in PyCharm (so I can breakpoint debug). When I run through the terminal (by calling dev_appserver.py), it works fine.

However, when I setup a run configuratin in PyCharm and Run/Debug, I get the following error:

from pytz.gae import pytz
ImportError: No module named gae

I have gae-pytz installed as a requirement, and the virtualenv I'm using does not have pytz installed.

Has anyone encountered this?

  • Even after trying to install gae-pytz via pip in the virtualenv, it did not work. Does this have to do with sandboxing and the Google App Engine?

  • @KannappanSirchabesan That did not end up working for me, as I got an issue when using timezone.zip. I'm going to try again though.
