Returning Vowels in MsgBox

-1

I'd like to return German vowels (ä, ü, ö) with MsgBox. I searched for a solution, but didn't find anything.

When I run MsgBox "ä", it returns some unreadable stuff.

Works just fine for me. Do you perhaps use a non-german locale on your computer? In that case saving your script in Unicode format instead of ANSI might help.

  • How do I save my script in Unicode?

  • That depends on what editor you're using. In Notepad there's a dropdown list at the bottom center of the Save As dialog.

  • I saved it in Unicode and it works now. Thanks!
