What approach should I take for the following video requirements [on hold]

-3

I want to capture the "talking heads" from a video with 4 or 5 participants and position them on a different background keeping the timeline intact.

Would this require a video editor, a high end video processing program or custom code.

Please edit the question to limit it to a specific problem with enough detail to identify an adequate answer. Avoid asking multiple distinct questions at once. See the How to Ask page for help clarifying this question. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

  • I don't understand this down vote. I've been programming for 30+ years. This is a new field for me and I did some serious study. I was just looking for some direction before I went down a wrong path. I know that it is supposed to be a place where you ask for specific answers to coding issues but I have never understood when I see questions closed because they didn't meet that condition. Invariably, that question provided some much needed information for me. What is wrong with just providing guidance?

  • Ok, so now I understand the down vote. I just think stackoverflow is missing an opportunity to be of great service. The same expertise that can answer specific coding problems could provide as much or more value in guiding someone onto the study path that they need.

  • SO is already a great service, specifically because it doesn't try to do everything. Check the rest of the Stack Exchange network for something like that, or reddit, or Quora.
