Old React site is being cached and wont update to new Angular site

0

Context:
I deployed a react site to Netlify a while ago. I now have created a new site in Angular and deployed it to the same URL again using Netlify.

Problem:
Anyone who visited the old site and has a cached version cannot load the new site without clearing their cache manually. Since there are 1000s of people with this problem and not all of them are tech orientated asking them to clear their cache is not viable.

How could I go about solving this?

A couple ideas I have:
Create a new site with a new domain and point the old site to that domain. (Not sure how I would point the old site though without somehow updating the website on the clients machine and that is not possible in the first place)
