How to expand a variable by using /a switch?
I'm using Windows Command Prompt. I simply want to expand a variable(let's call it MyVar) by adding another variable to it but instead of declaring the new variable in simple form, I want to use an equation and pass its result as the second variable.
I don't know too much about command-line switches like /a but I tried with different configurations of code and yet it doesn't work.
This is my code,
set /a MyVar=%MyVar%;3*2
I expect the result to be my already defined MyVar variable plus 6 as an additional variable at the end. But it prompts the "Missing operator." error.
