trigger script on row addition sheets
My script works when I run it manually. I'm trying to find a way to run it when another sheet, lets says Sheet16, gets a new row added to it.
Here is my script.
function AddIDs(e) {
ss=SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet()
s = ss.getSheetByName("Sheet15");
var currVal=s.getRange("H4").getValue();
var plusVal= currVal +1;
s.getRange("H4").setValue(plusVal);
}
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no trigger that can do what you are asking. There is an onChange trigger but it will only tell you a row has been added. You don't know which sheet. I suggest you look at this developers.google.com/apps-script/guides/triggers/events
