$element.data('daterangepicker').startDate throwing Cannot read property 'startDate ' of undefined
I am using daterange picker initialized like this
$(element).daterangepicker
startDate: dateRange.startDate.format(window.DATE_FORMAT)
endDate: dateRange.endDate.format(window.DATE_FORMAT)
return
When I access $(element).data()
, it returns the object with options which I set while initializing. The input is also properly initialized with the start and end date I set.
However, when I try to access the value $(element).data('daterangepicker').startDate
I get the following error:
Cannot read property 'startDate' of undefined
What is causing this?
jquery coffeescript daterangepicker

Please provide a bit more context on what is returned when you call$(element).data()
. Are you sure it contains a field nameddaterangepicker
?
