Galicia seu Halicia[1] (lingua Ucrainica Галичина, Polonice Galicja, Germanice olim Rotreußen vel Rothburgenland, Polonice Ruś Czerwona vel Grody Czerwieńskie, Latine Russia rubra) est terra quae ad occidentem partem Ucrainae et meridionalem partem Poloniae spectat. Nomina "Galicia" et "Lodomeria" sunt formae verbi Halytc (vel Galitc, Latine Galicia) ad Tyram et Volodimir sive Vladimir in Volhynia.
