Using Google Play Leaderboards in an app that is not a game
In my firm, we are working on an application that is not a game. However it contains a leaderboard in which users are ranked according to the amounts of purchases they have spent.
My question is: since, in the Google Play Console, we absolutely must select a category of game in order to be able to CRUD a Google Play Leaderboard, what could I do?
For now I've selected the category "Casino", the sole category that could be a little satisfying (but my application isn't at all a game...).
(linked question: Is Google Play Leaderboards suitable to rank users of my application according to their in-app purchases? )

I couldn't find any alternative for Google Play Services, but I found these threads that says there is no problem in doing it this way: Is it senseful and legal to use Google Play Game Services for Non-Game-Apps?, Can Google Play Games service be used for non games.
