Can I implement the function 'imfindcircles' for detecting eyes in this way?
Problem: I Need to detect eyes using imfindcircles.
I am new to MATLAB and all I need to do is get the coordinates of the eye in my test image on the variables centers and their radii on the variable radii. Below is my code so far (that I've worked out on my own entirely).
Please have a look.
function [left_x, right_x, left_y, right_y] = eye_detection(img)
img = imread('abc.jpg');
imshow(img);
img=im2bw(img(:,:,3));
[centers, radii] = imfindcircles(img,[100 300],'ObjectPolarity','dark','Sensitivity',0.95);
imagesc(img);
hold on;
h = viscircles(centers,radii,'LineStyle','--');
hold off
Expected output:
I would like 'centers' to carry the coordinates of the eye after running this code. I also added viscircles to get an outline on the detected circles but nothing is working for me at the moment.
Current output:
ans =
100

Your problem is not reproducible. For one thing, we don't have the image you're working with. Secondly, I don't know how you got that current output. Nothing in your code is indicative of the variableansbeing created and it being assigned to 100.
