Communicatio
Communicatio (a communicando[2]), si in notionem variarum artium huius aetatis accipitur, est comprehensio universalis omnium eorum quae ad nuntios omnium generum inter homines, animalia, machinasque conferendos pertinent. Quod cum ita sit, ad communicationem referuntur actus quibus nuntii, cogitationes, animi affectus omniave alia quae in animo percipitur vel habentur vel finguntur aut memoria tenentur sive per auditum, visum, signa, scripturam, habitum gestumque inter bina vel plura animalia, homines ac machinas commutantur.

Utilis definitio communicationis quae inter homines intercedit est haec:
quicumque actus quo homines alter cum altero ea quibus egent sive ea quae desiderent, percipiant vel sciant sive quo animo affecti sint conferunt. Communicatio potest sua sponte aut ab inscio fieri, per signa usitata aut inusitata agi, formas linguisticas aut non linguisticas sumere, et per modos voce loquendi aliosve modos haberi.[3][4]
Communicatio emissorem, nuntium et receptorem requirit, quamquam receptor abesse potest eumque eo tempore quo communicatio editur non oportet sentire emissorem communicationem sequi; itaque communicatio per vastam temporum regionumque longinquitatem transilire potest. Communicatio non contingit nisi partes quae inter se communicant communem communicativam regionem possident. Communicatio consummatur cum primum receptor nuntium emissoris intellexit.
