Python's equivalent to java's Stream.iterate
I'm traversing an abstract Node
, which has a parent
property, in python script until i hit None
. What I need is a one-liner for this generator:
def parents(node):
next = node
while next.parent:
next = next.parent
yield next
I don't mind using the generator above but I'm sure that functional programming has a better solution for that

Does the code you posted even work without raising an error? You never check if node/next is None before doing the property access.

Does the code you posted even work without raising an error? You never check if node/next is None before doing the property access.
