Organellum[1] in biologia cellulari est structura cellulae propriam habens functionem, et bicorio lipidorum plerumque inclusa est. Sunt multa genera organellorum praesertim in cellulis eucaryoticis. Olim procaryota organella habere non putantur, sed aliquot exempla iam reperta sunt.[2]
